1. Information we collect
When you use FlightRadar.AI, we may collect the following types of information:
- Search data: Origin, destination, travel dates, and passenger count that you enter into the search form.
- Account data: Name and email address if you create an account or sign up for price alerts.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent — collected anonymously to improve our product.
- Device data: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and localisation purposes.
We do not collect payment information directly. All payments are processed by Razorpay or Stripe, who have their own privacy policies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our flight search and AI prediction services
- Send price alerts and travel notifications you have subscribed to
- Personalise search results and recommendations
- Respond to support requests and enquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We never sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.
3. Affiliate links & third parties
When you click a "Search on [partner]" button, you are redirected to a third-party booking platform (MakeMyTrip, Skyscanner, KAYAK, Cleartrip, EaseMyTrip, or Google Flights). We may receive an affiliate commission if you complete a booking on those platforms.
These platforms have their own privacy policies and data practices. We recommend reviewing them before booking. We pass only the necessary search parameters (origin, destination, dates, passenger count) in the redirect URL — no personal account data.
4. Cookies
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (session management, security). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Used to understand how visitors use the site (via privacy-first analytics). No personal data is stored.
- Preference cookies: Remember your search preferences and language settings.

5. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on servers located in India and the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit, and AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
We retain search data for 90 days for the purpose of price trend analysis. Account data is retained until you request deletion. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
6. Your rights
Under applicable data protection laws (including India's DPDP Act 2023), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority
